Garden Roses Tiramisu Cake

This is a layer cake inspired by the Classic Italian Tiramisu. It is composed of 4 layers of featherweight Genoise that are generously soaked in espresso and masala wine. The cake is filled with a Mascarpone Sabayon lightened by the addition of whipped cream. This dessert is light and mildly sweet which gets better with days as the flavour of the espresso, masala, mascarpone merges with the golden buttery genoise. You will find yourself sleep walking to the fridge in the middle of the night for a second helping...
